CLASSROOMS

To create a comfortable environment, conducive to learning, there are eight 100 seater and nine 25 seater classrooms. All the classrooms and tutorial rooms have been provided with multipurpose podium, projection system, lecture recording and audio system. This will be instrumental in enhancing learning process and help the students in understanding the complex concepts through three-dimensional visualization.

LIBRARY

The NIFTEM Knowledge Centre (NKC) came into existence as a constituent of the NIFTEM, Kundli. A multi-level five storey 5474.29 sqmt State-of-the-Art NKC is housed in aesthetically designed boat shaped building amidst the NIFTEM campus.

The aim of the NKC is to cater to the needs of the Graduate & Post-Graduate Students, Research scholars and the faculty members of the institute. It also caters to the needs of the research scholars and faculty members through internet/intranet by providing information services to all the various stakeholders relating to bibliographic, full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the institute.

The NKC has a unique set up of information and Library Network System and equipped with modern infrastructure. Readers can access our NKC record on the internet/intranet. The NKC also provides all possible information through internet required by the research scholars. The NKC is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, journals, on-line databases, e-books, e-journals, etc. NKC has implemented EM-RFID (3M) for security system, self issue/return, automatic inventory control and ILM (VTLS-Vertua) for library automation.

CAFETERIA

In the immediate vicinity of the NKC, there is a very big cafeteria in the campus, offering variety of hygienic food and beverage items.

AUDITORIUM

The institute has a fully equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 650 and state of the art logistic as well as lights and sound system to support all kinds of programs, conferences etc.

HOSTELS

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Ambience with the right blend of studies and extracurricular activities has been created in the hostels. Living rooms are well furnished and spacious with all the modern amenities. A well designed common room provided with television facility is another feature. A gymnasium has been provided in the hostel to improve physical health and vigour. Staying in the hostel is mandatory for all students.

TRANPORTATION FACILITIES

We do realise that the location of campus is such that transportation facilities to and from the campus is a necessity. To cater to the needs of our students, we have a shuttle service plying on from campus to the nearest metro station (Jahangir Puri Metro Station) as well as to the nearest market centre.

SPORTS FACILITIES

Ground for outdoor & indoor sports activities like Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Billiards Table with full flood-light arrangements are being planned in the campus. Everything will be ready in very short span so that students can have a holistic personality development.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

Round the clock medical facility exists within the campus wherein a doctor is available during institute hours and on call. To facilitate prompt action during any medical emergency, dedicated paramedical staff is always present. Also the campus dispensary has been provided with all the essential first aid medicines and an ambulance.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES

Laundry service is also available for washing and ironing of clothes within the hostel.

CANTEEN FACILITY

A 24 Hour Canteen service has been provided in hostels for students. This provides hygienically prepared snacks, soft drinks and other eatables to students on payment basis.

GYMNASIUM FACILITIES

The hostel has gymnasium equipped with latest state of art equipments to ensure the good physical health of students.

PHOTOCOPY AND REPROGRAPHIC CENTER

Apart from the institutional photocopy services, a photocopy and reprographic center caters to frequent photocopy, spiral binding and other related requirements of students.

SELF CONTAINED CAMPUS

For an integrated township ambience, a separate complex to house amenities like Bank, Post office, General/Departmental Store, Stationery Store, Saloon and Food Court is being planned and will come up in near future.

GUEST HOUSE FACILITIES

An air conditioned guest house facility for parents and visitors is available. They can avail the facility only on an advance booking with the concerned authorities.
